Getting Started

To begin using Equinix Internet Access, set up an account and activate your new service. You can also order Internet Access services using your Equinix Fabric account or public APIs.

Set Up an Account in the Equinix Customer Portal

The Equinix Customer Portal (ECP) supports the activation and management of interconnection services, including Equinix Internet Access. To request a new account, contact Customer Support. See About the Equinix Customer Portal for more information about ECP resources.

Activate New Service

After you have created an ECP account, you can order and activate a new Equinix Internet Access service. For more information, see Order a Port and Activate Service.

Connect with Fabric

If you have an Equinix Fabric account, you can quickly order and activate Equinix Internet Access services through the Fabric portal or by using an API. To determine if this is a solution that fits your needs, see Internet Connection with Fabric.
