Device Linking Across Different Organizations within a Company
Network Edge allows you to create links between two or more devices that belong to different organizations in your company.

To create device links across different organizations, you need to be granted permissions to other organizations within your company. If you do not have the required permissions, contact your administrator to request access to Network Edge resources within other organizations. For more information about shared asset permissions, see Managing Network Edge Permissions.
Creating a Device Link Across Different Organizations within Your Company
- Sign in to the Equinix Customer Portal and navigate to Network Edge..
- From the Network Edge menu, select Virtual Device Inventory.

Select a device from the inventory list.
- Click Additional Services.
- In the Device Link section, click Add New Device Link.
All devices to which you have access displays.This includes devices within and without your organization. - Select the devices you want to link.

Click Next: Device Link Details, then enter the information.
- Device Link Name – Enter a name for the link.
- IP Pool – Enter the subnet.

Click Next:Review, then review your order.
- Click Submit.
After submission, your devices reboot. The newly created device link is usually established within 10 minutes.
