Service Profiles

To enable customers to connect to your service, you must create a service profile through the Equinix Fabric Portal. To learn more about the different types of service profiles you can create, see:

Service profiles can be either public or private. Public service profiles allow any Equinix Fabric user to see your service profile and create a connection to it. Public profiles are visible on the Equinix external website. Private service profiles enable you to grant access to specific Fabric customers, allowing them to view and connect to your service.

Note: While sub-account users can create a connection to a public profile, the reseller must grant permissions for the sub-account user to create a connection to a private profile. See Equinix Fabric Resellers for more information.
