Rename a Fabric Cloud Router
You can update a Fabric Cloud Router by changing its name to make the connection easier to identify in your Inventory list.
Update the Name of a Fabric Cloud Router

Sign into the Equinix Customer Portal and navigate to Fabric.

If your Fabric account has been transitioned to Equinix Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, use the Context Switcher drop-down list to access your project and its assets.

From the Cloud Routers menu, select Fabric Cloud Router Inventory.

From the inventory list of connections, locate the Fabric Cloud Router Name.
You can use the filter options to narrow your search using specific criteria.

Click the name of the connection that you want to change. Details for the Cloud Router connection are displayed.

To change the name of the Cloud Router, click Edit on the right side of the window.

Enter an updated name and click Confirm.
The new name for this connection is displayed in your Inventory. See Fabric Cloud Router Inventory for more information.
