You might want to delete your Internet Access service for these reasons:

  • You want to stop paying for the service.

  • You need a different configuration.

Deleting the service also frees up the network and IP address capacity for reuse by other services.

To delete an Internet Access service:

  • Your organization must be onboarded to an Equinix CRH/AM Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. For more information, see About Identity and Access Management.

  • The EIA Manager role must be assigned to the account used to send API requests. Or, this role must be able to process requests through the Fabric portal. For instructions about assigning the role, see Assign Users to Organizations or Projects.

  • The Internet Access service currently exists. It's not already deleted or in the process of being deleted.

  • The Internet Access service creation process has completed, and the Create order is closed in Siebel.
