Delete Internet Access with Fabric
If you ordered Equinix Internet Access with Equinix Fabric, you can use the Fabric portal or APIs to cancel your Internet Access service.

You might want to delete your Internet Access service for these reasons:

You want to stop paying for the service.

You need a different configuration.
Deleting the service also frees up the network and IP address capacity for reuse by other services.
Prerequisites
To delete an Internet Access service:

Your organization must be onboarded to an Equinix CRH/AM Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. For more information, see About Identity and Access Management.

The EIA Manager role must be assigned to the account used to send API requests. Or, this role must be able to process requests through the Fabric portal. For instructions about assigning the role, see Assign Users to Organizations or Projects.

The Internet Access service currently exists. It's not already deleted or in the process of being deleted.

The Internet Access service creation process has completed, and the Create order is closed.
Delete an Equinix Internet Access Service
To deinstall an Equinix Internet Access service that was ordered with the Fabric portal:

Sign into Equinix Customer Portal and navigate to Fabric.

Click the global navigation menu at the top left of the window, and select Internet Access.
The Equinix Internet Access Inventory is displayed.

Locate the Internet Access instance that you want to delete. You can use the filter and search options to find the specific connection.

Click the name of the Internet Access service instance in the first column. The details such as its configuration, billing type, IP addresses, and order details are displayed.

In the top right corner of the details window, click Delete Internet Access. A confirmation message is displayed.

In the confirmation message, click Delete Internet Access.
The Equinix Internet Access Inventory is displayed. The service that you deleted is not included in the list.
