Change Password

To ensure your account is secure, change your password often, make sure it's strong and don't use the same password for multiple accounts.

To change your password:

  1. Sign in to an Equinix portal of your choice.

  2. From the user menu in the top-right corner, select User Account.

    Important: The User Account page is currently available to customers using email-based login. For information on how to enable email-based login, see Enable Email-based Login.

  3. From the left menu, select Access and Security.

  4. In the Password section, click Change.

  5. Enter a new password that meets the security criteria.

  6. Repeat the password and click Change Password.

Tip: If your organization has the password expiration policy enabled, you can also trigger password change from the user menu when your password is about to expire.
