Order Metro Connect Video
To order Equinix Metro Connect ports for an IBX data center, you must have an account with the Equinix Customer Portal (ECP). For information on accessing Equinix Metro Connect through ECP, see Getting Started.
To order an Equinix Metro Connect port:

Sign into Equinix Customer Portal.

From the Orders and Tickets drop-down list, choose Network Ports, then click Metro Connect.

In the Locations and Offering Details section, select your metro area, the A-side IBX data center, and the Z-side destination details:

To another Equinix customer in the IBX data center

To myself in the IBX data center

To a BMMR (Building Meet-Me Room)

Select a billing account, a protection level, and the port speed for your new Metro Connect. Click Next: Connection Details.

In the Connection Details section, provide the port and connection details for the A-side and Z-side IBX locations.

In the Purchase Order and Contact Details section, enter the purchase order (PO) and contact information.

To download a PDF for review, click Print Order Summary.

Review the Service Details and Pricing, click I agree to accept the Pricing Information, and view the Order Terms.

Click Submit Order. Your order is submitted.
