Extended Metro Connect via Building Meet-Me Room (BMMR) is available at CH1/2/4, DA1/4/7, LA1, NY1, SE2/3, and TR1/2.
Note that AT2/3 BMMR has capacity constraints and can only be requested through your account team. -
Some 100G Metro Connect orders might require longer lead times than the standard 10-day lead time.

Metro Connects MI2 – MI3 and MI2 – MI6 pass through a Fiber Connect segment that has a dark fiber cross connect between MI1 and MI2.
Media Type
Equinix supports only Single-Mode Fiber (SMF), which carries a single ray of light (mode) for long-distance and high-speed transmissions.
Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF) and Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cable options are not for sale, effective December 1, 2021. However, existing Metro Connect installations with MMF and UTF continue to be supported.
