Multipoint-to-Multipoint Connections
Multipoint-to-multipoint networking enables you to interconnect assets deployed across many locations through a common network instead of requiring direct connections between individual locations.
Depending on the asset you want to connect, we differentiate the following network types:
-
EP-LAN - EP-LAN is a fully transparent port-based, layer 2 Multipoint-to-Multipoint connectivity service that is connected using untagged EPL ports.
-
EVP-LAN - EVP-LAN is connected using Dot1Q. This way, you can create multiple connections from your port and use VLANs to separate the traffic.
-
IP-WAN - Use IP-WAN network to connect your Fabric Cloud Routers and create your private, layer 3-based wide area network.
To take advantage of Multipoint-to-Multipoint connections, first Create a Network and then Connect to a Network.
