Connect to a Network
Connect to a Network to interconnect assets deployed across many locations.
Prerequisites

Origin asset instance of your choice: a Fabric port, a Network Edge virtual device or a Fabric Cloud Router.
Fabric port - An untagged EPL port if you want to create an EP-LAN network, or a Dot1Q port if you want to create an EVP-LAN network and separate the network traffic using VLANs. For information on how to order a Fabric port, see
Order an Equinix Fabric Port.
Network Edge Virtual Device - A Network Edge virtual device that can connect to an EVP-LAN or an EP-LAN. For information on how to order a Network Edge virtual device, see Implementing Your Network Edge Devices.
Fabric Cloud Router - A Fabric Cloud Router is required if you want to create an IP-WAN network. For information on how to order a Fabric Cloud Router, see Create a Fabric Cloud Router. -
