Perishable Goods
Perishable goods are not permitted for delivery, receipt, storage, or handling through IBX loading bays or by onsite logistics teams. Our loading bay operations are designed exclusively to support the receipt and movement of customer IT equipment and related infrastructure. As our facilities are not equipped to accommodate the specific storage, temperature control, hygiene, or handling requirements associated with perishable items, acceptance of such goods may create operational, health, and facility-related risks.
Customers who require perishable items onsite should arrange for these to be brought into the facility as hand-carried deliveries through the reception or lobby areas, in accordance with site procedures.
Customers requiring use of the loading bay to transport perishable goods to their designated flex space or office space must submit an inbound shipment request and comply with all applicable site access and loading bay procedures. The customer or their authorized representative must be present in the lobby/loading bay to receive the shipment.
If an unannounced perishable shipment is accepted in error by Logistics or Security, the customer must collect it promptly, and IBX assumes no responsibility for its condition, storage, handling, or safety.
Smoking and Welfare Facilities
- Smoking:
- Permitted only in designated areas.
- Fully extinguish cigarettes after use.
- Welfare Amenities:
- May include canteen, restrooms, hot desks, rest areas, and meeting rooms.
- For more information, contact your Equinix host.
