Solution Builder: Equinix Internet Access
Equinix Internet Access (EIA) provides blended internet access using multiple tier-1 internet service providers (ISPs) and Equinix Internet Exchanges (IX). Solution Builder supports two variants of EIA: Internet connection with Network Edge Devices, and Internet connection with Fabric ports. Add Equinix Internet Access

In Network Resources, select and then drag Equinix Internet Access.

Select the metro where EIA will be set up.

Use your cursor to draw a line between the dots of your Fabric Port or Network Edge device to Equinix Internet Access.
- You can't create a connection if the port or device metro is different than the EIA metro you are connecting to.
- The price for the EIA service includes the price of the virtual connection.
Dual connections from Redundant or Cluster NE to EIA
You can create a redundant connections to EIA from either Redundant of Cluster Network Edge device.
The price for either Single or Dual EIA is the same. To calculate correct pricing for dual connection to EIA, you need to exclude one of the connections from pricing in Solution Builder, as Dual Connections are not fully supported yet.
