This feature helps troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues, and supports observability and traffic analysis. See Traffic Mirroring for more information about how to use this new capability.
Availability: General
25 Gbps Virtual Connections
Network Edge now supports both 10 Gbps and 25 Gbps Virtual Connections (VCs), enabling customers to provision higher-bandwidth connectivity between their virtual network functions (VNFs) and Equinix Fabric.
Previously, Network Edge supported Virtual Connections up to 10 Gbps. With this enhancement, customers can now provision 25 Gbps Virtual Connections, allowing them to support higher throughput workloads and reduce bandwidth bottlenecks for demanding applications.
Support for 25 Gbps connections is dependent on the virtual device's capabilities and licensing.
