Equinix Internet Access 2024.05 is available May, 2024.

With this release, Equinix Internet Access supports the convenient use of Purchase Orders to simplify the ordering process with Network Edge virtual connections.

Purchase Orders Now Supported for Internet Access with Network Edge

Purchase Orders (POs) can now be used to order Internet Access over Network Edge virtual devices. Customers with billing accounts can choose to use an active PO during the online ordering process. As with ordering a dedicated Internet Access port, using a PO is optional, unless the order is placed with a PO bearing billing account (which requires the use of a PO). For more details about using a PO to order Internet Access with Network Edge, see Internet Connection with Network Edge Virtual Devices.

Equinix Internet Access 2024.04

Now, Equinix Internet Access can be ordered using global billing for convenient connections to virtual devices through Network Edge, and for Internet Access with Fabric.

Internet Connection Orders with Global Billing Accounts

Internet Access connections can now be ordered through Equinix global billing. Users with an Equinix global billing account can purchase Internet Access connections across multiple countries with a single currency. This simplifies the billing process for international deployments.

The global billing option is available when ordering Internet Access with Network Edge virtual devices, and with Fabric connections. For more information about setting up and using Equinix global billing, see Billing Account Management, Internet Connection with Network Edge Virtual Devices, and Internet Connection with Fabric.
