Managed Firewall (Brazil, Managed Solutions)
Effective 31 December 2026, the Managed Firewall offering in Brazil will be discontinued. Customers are encouraged to transition to the Virtual Appliance Firewall offering to avoid disruptions.

Equinix Marketplace
Beginning in mid-June, Equinix Marketplace capabilities are moving to the Equinix Fabric® Marketplace. As of 30 June 2026, the Equinix Marketplace URL will automatically redirect to the Fabric Marketplace.
The Fabric Marketplace now offers an intuitive provider search and an interactive network map, making it easier to find the right partners, view real-time availability, and explore global connectivity options across the Equinix IBX® data center ecosystem.

Virtual Appliance – Load Balancer (Brazil, Managed Solutions)
Effective 31 July 2027, the Virtual Appliance – Load Balancer offering in Brazil will be discontinued. After this date, these services will no longer be available or supported.
There is no replacement offering available, and customers should contact their Equinix account executive with any questions.

Select Canada Managed Solutions Offerings
Effective 31 August 2026, the following Managed Solutions Canada offerings will no longer be available for purchase or renewal:

- Managed Backup Product (BAK00001.PROD)
- Virtual Appliance Product–FW (VA00001.PROD)
- Virtual Appliance–LB (VA00001.ELEM)

These offerings will be discontinued on 30 June 2027. Customers may make changes to their existing orders until 1 December 2026.
Replacement solutions are available for some products. Customers are encouraged to work with their Equinix account executive to transition their service(s).

BI-VLAN and Bit-isle Connect (Japan)
Effective 30 September 2026, the following BI‑VLAN and Bit‑isle Connect services will be discontinued:
- BI‑VLAN (Product Code: XBIT1002)
- Bit‑isle Connect (Product Codes: XBIT1003, XBIT1004)
Customers can migrate to an alternative network connectivity service or cancel their Equinix BI-VLAN/Bit-isle Connect services at any time without penalty. Services that have not been migrated or canceled by 30 September 2026 will be terminated.

Global Security Services (Japan, Managed Solutions)

After this date, these services will no longer be available or supported. Equinix account teams will proactively engage affected customers to support transition planning.

Service Level Manager (Brazil, Managed Solutions)
The Service Level Manager (SLM) offering will be discontinued for customers in Brazil in 2026. Applicable end-of-life dates are communicated directly to affected customers. After the communicated EOL date, the SLM service will no longer be available or supported.

Equinix Fabric Layer 3 – Salesforce Express Connect
The Salesforce Express Connect Layer 3 service on Equinix Fabric® will be discontinued on 15 June 2026.
After this date, Fabric Layer 3 subscriptions, routing instances, and connectors used for Salesforce Express Connect will no longer operate.
Customers should implement an alternative connectivity solution before 15 June 2026. For example, customers may connect to Amazon Web Services (AWS) over Equinix Fabric and peer with Amazon’s public Virtual Interface (VIF) to receive Salesforce prefixes.

Equinix Metal
Effective November 7th, 2024 Equinix is discontinuing Equinix Metal on June 30th, 2026.

If you are under contract, you have the option to continue on Metal month-to-month once your contract ends until the End of Life date. For existing on-demand customers, you can continue using Metal until further notice.
Equinix is ensuring the continued performance, security, and stability of the Metal product until it is sunset, and are committed to working with you over the coming months to find an alternative solution, whether at Equinix with colocation or managed services or via third-party options.

Equinix Connect
Effective July 31st, 2024 Equinix is discontinuing Equinix Connect on November 20th, 2026.

The end of life for Equinix Connect includes:
- 100M ports
- Copper media type
- Multi-mode fiber (MMF) media type
The sale of Equinix Connect 100M ports, copper, and multi-mode fiber ended on December 31, 2021, and these interfaces are now approaching the end of their lifecycle. After November 20, 2026, Equinix will terminate all Equinix Connect services and remove the associated equipment.
Equinix Internet Access is replacing Equinix Connect ensuring the continued delivery of reliable and scalable internet services on a modern platform that offers enhanced features, expanded capacity, and improved stability.
