Tipos de licença de borda de rede
Há duas opções de licença disponíveis para dispositivos virtuais do Network Edge: "Traga Sua Própria Licença" (BYOL) e "Licença por Assinatura" (atualmente limitada a alguns fornecedores). A disponibilidade do tipo de licença varia de acordo com o fornecedor, o modelo e o tipo de implantação. Este documento descreve cada tipo de licença e as considerações para cada um.
O suporte para software do fornecedor e a configuração do software do fornecedor são oferecidos pelos fornecedores.
Resumo da opção de licença
Traga sua própria licença (BYOL)
- Disponível para todos os tipos de VNF (quando suportado pelo fornecedor).
- Licença adquirida diretamente do fornecedor ou revendedor do fornecedor.
- É necessário um contrato de suporte separado de cada fornecedor.
- A Equinix oferece suporte à infraestrutura VNF. Problemas específicos da VNF precisam ser resolvidos pelo fornecedor da VNF por meio de um contrato de suporte separado. Consulte Responsabilidades de Configuração do Dispositivo para obter mais informações.
- Adequado para clientes que precisam de todas as funções VNF e flexibilidade no gerenciamento de VNF.
A licença BYOL está disponível para todas as VNFs (onde suportadas pelo fornecedor). Adquira uma licença e um contrato de suporte separadamente, diretamente com o fornecedor ou um revendedor autorizado. Essa opção oferece flexibilidade para clientes corporativos que já possuem um revendedor de equipamentos de rede preferencial. Um contrato de suporte separado proporciona acesso direto à equipe de suporte do fornecedor.
Licença de Assinatura
- Atualmente disponível para fornecedores VNF limitados.
- Assinaturas de licenças disponíveis no portal do cliente Equinix .
- Para dispositivos F5, a F5 requer uma conta de suporte para acesso o suporte F5 diretamente.
- Para o VyOS, a Equinix oferece um pacote que inclui suporte.
- A opção de assinatura do modo autônomo do Catalyst 8000V permite que você solucione problemas de software ou configuração do Cisco 8000V com o Centro de Assistência Técnica (TAC) da Cisco. A Equinix abre um chamado no TAC para você, e então você interage diretamente com o TAC da Cisco. Para problemas relacionados à infraestrutura de borda de rede da Equinix, a Equinix se encarregará da solução de problemas. A Equinix não se envolverá na solução de problemas de software ou configuração do Cisco 8000V.
