Change VLAN on a Connection

You can change the VLAN assigned to an existing Fabric connection to update your network configuration. Origin VLANs can be modified to:

• Correct IP and VLAN mismatches
• Change numbering conventions
• Achieve network redundancy
• Isolate traffic

To change the origin VLAN of your connection:

1. Log in to the Customer Portal > Fabric Dashboard.

2. From the Connections menu, select Connections Inventory.

3. Locate and click the connection you want to edit.

   

4. Click Change next to the origin VLAN.

   

5. Enter the new value for the VLAN and select I understand this change will Cause Short Disruption in Service.

   

6. Click Confirm.
