Ordering Metro Connect
Equinix is upgrading its systems and updating the user experience in the Customer Portal over the course of 2026. If your account has been onboarded, ordering Metro Connect in the Customer Portal is temporarily unavailable. Thank you for your patience during this transition. For assistance with placing a Metro Connect order, contact your Sales Representative.
Equinix Metro Connect services offer point-to-point connectivity between Equinix data center locations within a metropolitan area and, in a few cases, between metropolitan areas in the same country. Download and review the Metro Connect data sheet.
Metro Connect is available in two offerings: Fabric Metro Connect (FMC) and Optical Metro Connect (OMC).
