Managed Private Cloud
Managed Private Cloud (MPC) is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform delivered by Equinix Managed Solutions. It provides compute, storage, and networking resources hosted in Equinix IBX data centers and operated by Equinix on behalf of the customer.
MPC is designed to support hybrid and multicloud architectures. Using Equinix Fabric, MPC environments can securely connect to customer on-premises infrastructure, colocation deployments, and supported public cloud and SaaS providers, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, SAP, and others.
MPC includes integrated compute, storage, and networking resources managed through the MPC Operational Console. From the console, customers can create and manage virtual machines, allocate compute and storage resources, and configure virtual networks and security policies. MPC is available in a selected number of IBX locations globally, enabling customers to deploy applications and systems with geographic and latency advantages.

MPC Variants
MPC is available in several service variants that differ in tenancy (the level of isolation provided), purchase model (how capacity is allocated and billed), and management interface (the tools used to operate the environment).
