Port Interface Types and Availability

Equinix Fabric ports are physical or virtual interfaces that enable traffic exchange across the platform. These ports are consistent with those used across other Equinix Fabric services, supporting seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Ports can be provisioned globally at Equinix IBX data centers and used to establish connections with service providers, other Equinix Fabric participants, and enterprise networks.

Port options are available to accommodate a range of bandwidth requirements, including 100G LR4, 10G SMF, and 1G LX. These options provide flexibility for deploying high-performance connectivity based on specific capacity needs.
