Tipos de licencia Network Edge
Hay dos opciones de licencia disponibles para los dispositivos virtuales Network Edge: Traiga su propia licencia (BYOL) y Licencia de suscripción (actualmente limitada a unos pocos proveedores). La disponibilidad del tipo de licencia varía según el proveedor, el modelo y el tipo de implementación. En este documento se describen cada tipo de licencia y las consideraciones correspondientes.
Los proveedores ofrecen asistencia para el software y la configuración del software del proveedor.
Resumen de las opciones de licencia
Traiga su propia licencia (BYOL)
- Disponible para todos los tipos de VNF (cuando lo admita el proveedor).
- Licencia adquirida directamente al vendedor o a un distribuidor del vendedor.
- Se requiere un contrato de asistencia independiente para cada proveedor.
- Equinix da soporte a la infraestructura VNF. Los problemas específicos de VNF deben ser soportados por el proveedor de VNF a través de un contrato de soporte independiente. Consulte Device Configuration Responsibilities para obtener más información.
- Adecuado para clientes que necesitan todas las funciones VNF y flexibilidad en la gestión de VNF.
El tipo de licencia BYOL está disponible para todas las VNF (siempre que estén soportadas por el proveedor). Adquiera una licencia y un contrato de asistencia por separado a un proveedor o revendedor del proveedor. Esta opción proporciona flexibilidad a los clientes empresariales si ya disponen de un revendedor de equipos de red preferido. Un contrato de asistencia independiente proporciona acceso directo al equipo de asistencia del proveedor.
Licencia de suscripción
- Actualmente disponible para proveedores de VNF limitados.
- Suscripciones de licencia disponibles en Equinix Customer Portal.
- Para los dispositivos F5, F5 requiere una cuenta de soporte técnico para acceder directamente al servicio de asistencia de F5.
- Para VyOS, Equinix ofrece un paquete que incluye asistencia.
- La opción de suscripción al modo autónomo de Catalyst 8000V le permite solucionar problemas de software o configuración de Cisco 8000V con el Centro de Asistencia Técnica (TAC) de Cisco. Equinix abre un caso TAC para usted y, a continuación, usted se pone en contacto directamente con el TAC de Cisco. En el caso de los problemas relacionados con la infraestructura Network Edge de Equinix, Equinix se encargará de solucionarlos. Equinix no se ocupará de los problemas de software o configuración de Cisco 8000V ni de la resolución de problemas.
