Resellers are customers who purchase services from Equinix and resell them to their customers. Reseller and sub-account support and permissions have been added to the Equinix Fabric Portal.
- A reseller can add the customer account as a sub-account on the Equinix Customer Portal (ECP).
- All virtual devices and connections created from a sub-account will be billed to the reseller.
- In the Equinix Fabric Portal, a sub-account user can view, order, and delete connections.
- Resellers can order or delete a device or connection on behalf of the sub-account user.
- A sub-account can only view the Network Edge assets for which it has been granted access.
