Version control allows Network Edge users to upgrade, downgrade, or roll back their devices to an Equinix-certified image. Version control is available to Network Edge customers with non-SD-WAN provisioned devices (such as Cisco CSR, Juniper vSRX, PANW, and Fortinet Firewall). Version control is only available on Equinix-configured devices.
Note: All SD-WAN devices are controlled by the controller orchestrator.
In-Service Model (PANW)
In-service devices are always up and running. The image can be downloaded and then upgraded.
Redeployment Model (CSR 100v, Juniper vSRX, Fortinet Firewall)
Redeployed devices are directly upgraded or downgraded.
