Infoblox VNFs Specifications
Licensing
Bring Your Own License (BYOL) products require a valid license. You are responsible for purchasing and managing your own licenses from InfoBlox. To purchase a software license, contact your Infoblox sales representative or partners.
Support & Resources
Infoblox support is available for BYOL licenses. Contact your Infoblox sales representative or partner to purchase a license and support contract.
Limitations
-
The March 2025 release only supports the Grid member role for vNIOS. Equinix and Infoblox do not support vNIOS deployed as a Grid Manager. The Grid Manager role will be supported in a future release.
-
No Global IP Address is assigned to the VNF. Once the vNIOS VNF is provisioned, the local IP address needs to be assigned to either LAN1 or MGMT interfaces to connect to the Grid Manager for registration.
-
The Initial password used for console access provided by the user in the provisioning workflow is not encrypted. Once the Grid member registers to the Grid Manager, the original unencrypted password will be overwritten by an encrypted password configured on the Grid Manager
