The image download tool in Network Edge allows you to view and download available software versions for the Cisco Catalyst 8000V (Autonomous Mode) and then upload them to your device in order to upgrade or downgrade it. This tool is for subscription devices with images certified by Equinix.
- Sign in to the Equinix Customer Portal and navigate to Network Edge.
- From the Network Edge menu, select Virtual Device Inventory. Make sure to switch to the intended Project Name/ID before proceeding.
- Locate the Cisco Catalyst 8000 device and click the device name to view the Virtual Device Details page.
- Click Tools.
- In the Software Version Download card, click See Available Versions.
- In the Available Versions drop-down, select the version you want to download.
- Click Start Version Download.
- When the download prompt displays, save the file to a location of your choice.
