Delete a Service Profile

Delete a service profile if you no longer provide services defined by the service profile.

Important: Deleting the service profile does not automatically delete any active connections linked to the service profile. Contact your customers to migrate or terminate their existing connections, then proceed with deleting the service profile.

If a service profile is created in the future with the same name, it will have a different identifier so old connections don't automatically reroute to a new profile.

To delete a service profile:

1. Log in to Equinix Fabric.

2. Click Administration and select My Service Profiles.

3. Locate the Service Profile you want to delete and click the View/Edit Service Profile.

4. Click Delete Service Profile.

5. Click Yes, Delete to confirm.
