Virtual Connection Availability
Equinix Fabric is available in over 60 global metros.

Virtual Connections at speeds up to 100 Gbps
Virtual connections with speeds up to 50 Gbps are available in most metros. 100 Gbps connection speeds are available in select metros.
Connection speeds greater than 10 Gbps are currently available for:
- Port-to-port, Fabric Cloud Router (FCR), and cloud connections
- 100 Gbps or 400 Gbps EPL or EVPL ports are required for port based connections
- FCR Advanced package is required for FCR based connections
- New 100 Gbps or 400 Gbps ports must be provisioned to support 100 Gbps connections in metros where they are available. Existing 100 Gbps ports do not support 100 Gbps connections.

Multipoint Networks – Maximum Bandwidth Speed
The Maximum bandwidth speed for connections to regional and global multipoint networks (E-LAN, E-Tree, IP-WAN) is 25Gbps. Connections to multipoint networks are not supported from the following metros:
AMER
- LM (Lima)
EMEA
- DX (Dubai)
APAC
- Canberra (CA)
- Chennai (CN)
- Jakarta (JK)
- Kuala Lumpur (KA)
- Manila (MN)
- Mumbai (MB)
Inter-metro Latency
The values in the table below represent the not-to-exceed round trip times (RTT) in milliseconds both within a region and between any two regions.
Outside of the SLA, and if you require an indicative value of the expected round trip time between any two given metros globally, use the Routes feature on Equinix Fabric Network Map accessible in the Equinix Portal.
