Request a Digital Letter of Authorization (DiLOA)
Using the Digital LOA Manager, an A-side user can quickly request a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from a Z-side user through email. Entering information into an online form generates a request to the Z-side user, who can efficiently create the approved connection.
Create a Request for an LOA Video
The Digital LOA Manager (DiLOA) enables the A-side user to contact a potential Z-side partner to request an LOA for a new connection. The Z-side partner receives the email request with a link to launch the Digital LOA Manager. By clicking this link, the Z-side partner can quickly complete the LOA request for the new connection.
Request an LOA

Enter your username and password into the Equinix Customer Portal, then click Sign In.

In the Digital LOA Manager, in the View LOA (A-side) card, click Request LOA.
The Request for Digital LOA form is displayed.
Partner Selection and Connection Details

Choose an A-side IBX and a Z-side Partner from the drop-down lists.

Enter any Additional Details that might be helpful for your Z-side partner. For example, the type of connection and connector type, and when it's needed.

Click Next. The Contact Information screen is displayed.
Note:A blue bar is displayed across the top of the page. Mouse over the bar to view a drop-down list that shows your progress in requesting the LOA.
A check mark shows that you completed the previous page, Prepare LOA Request. To return to the previous page to make edits, click Prepare LOA Request.
Contact Details

In the Z-side Contact List section, enter the address for your Z-side Contact Email.

To add one or more additional Z-side contacts, click Add additional email.

Click Next. The Review Your Digital LOA Request page is displayed.
Review Details

In Review Your Digital LOA Details, verify that the Z-side Connection Details and Contact Information sections are correct.

Click Next. A confirmation message is displayed with a brief survey.
Your Z-side contact receives email that includes your request to connect as an A-side partner, and a link to the Digital LOA Manager to create the new LOA.
