Through the self-service portal of EBC, you can own and have access to one or more Virtual Data Centers (VDCs) within one or more Equinix locations. Reasons for choosing multiple VDCs can be geographically spread locations, disaster recovery, deviating performance requirements, implementing a reseller model or separating production and OTA workloads.
