Equinix Managed Services in Ireland is available in two geographically separated Equinix IBX® Data Centres: North Dublin (DB3) and West Dublin (DB2).

Based on the issues and challenges in performance, availability, security, compliance and flexibility for business continuity, innovation speed and cost reduction, EMS in Ireland consists of:

  • Managed Private Cloud (MPC) – Our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform, and the landing place for virtualised workloads and applications. MPC facilitates hybrid and multicloud environments with low latency access to major CSPs and partners through Equinix Fabric. (MPC was previously known as Infrastructure Platform Services or IPS.)

  • Network & Security Platform (N&S) – Customer built networking solutions or an additional security layer option including Managed Firewalls and Anti-DDoS.

  • Data Platform (DTA) – A local, multi-tier data platform available as dedicated or as an add-on for MPC including Flash and Object storage types.
