Customer Support

You can find Support information, start a live chat, create or track a support case, or request a callback within the Customer Portal.

Global Support Menu

Within the Customer Portal, click ? Support.

Choose an option from the Support menu:

  • Knowledge Base – Search the knowledge base for policies, certifications, help articles and more.
  • Start a Live Chat – Equinix Live Chat Support is available 24 hours every day in English.
  • Open a Support Case – Open a support case for products and services including IBX data center-related issues.
  • Track your Support Case – Find updated status on current and past cases.
  • Request a Callback – Leave your contact details and someone from Equinix Support will call you.
  • My Equinix Contacts – Displays a page of your Equinix contacts and how to reach them.
  • Visit Support Center – Access information on support cases, the help center, product documentation, and the Equinix customer guide.

Support Center

To access the Support Center:

  • Click ? Support and from the Support menu, click Visit Support Center.

OR

  • Click Support Center from the Navigation menu.

The Overview tab of the Support Center shows a dashboard of Support Cases divided into three classifications:

  • Action Required
  • Open
  • Closed

Select the Support Cases tab or click View all cases to view a list of current support cases. Select a specific case to view its status. For more information, see Managing Support Cases

To open a support case, select Open a support case. For more information, see Opening a Support Case

Use the Knowledge Base search bar to find topics on products, services offered, and tutorials on navigating through the Customer Portal.
