Users can view their company profile and update relevant information about their company. This information can be viewed and edited by any user associated with the company.
The Company Profile page also shows both private and public Service Profiles associated with your organization. These Service Profiles are displayed below the Company Profile when scrolling down the page.

Companies can be searchable in the ECX FabricECX Fabric is an advanced interconnection solution that improves performance by providing a direct, private network connection portal. Within the portal, company profiles have the option of being set as “public” so that they can be searched for and discovered by users of other companies. This is available through two features:
Company Profile – users provide details on their company, the services they provide, and how they can be connected to. The company profile can be set as public or private. If set to public any ECX Fabric portal user can view the company profile.
Explore – the ability to search for public company profiles, public service profiles, service tags, public company contacts and locations. Categorical search is part of the search capability.

This can be easily toggled for the entire company profile when in the company profile edit view.

As a service provider you can more easily promote your company’s services on the ECX Fabric
As an enterprise customer you can now discover and connect to more service providers that may be important to your business
Messaging is facilitated in the ECX Fabric portal between users. For example, an enterprise customer can inquiry about the services a service provider offers. Public contacts can be set by a company based on communication preferences.

Interconnection Service Types
Allows for the user to select the types of interconnection offered by the company. This should correlate with available public Service Profiles.
Description and Notes
Describe the company services and any other information that is believed to be helpful to the promotion of the services. The notes section allows for additional commentary on preferred processes for how the services can be consumed. For example, how you would prefer your customers to connect to you along with any desired configuration preferences.
Connection Provisioning Process
Select the provisioning process your business supports for customers wishing to establish Virtual Connections to your business. Most ECX Fabric service providers (sellersA seller is a user who makes their services available to end customers through ECX. This guide refers to sellers for shorthand, but ECX generally regards a “seller” as an activity rather than a static person.) only support the standard Equinix ordering process. Partner integrated ordering means that your business has taken steps to leverage available ECX Fabric APIs to potentially simplify and automate the ordering and provisioning process associated with Virtual Connections.

Promote your social accounts/URLs.
Select from a list of pre-defined service tags or create your own custom service tags. The service tags are searchable from the Explore page. For example, if you wish to allow users on ECX Fabric to search for your business that offers VoIP then you would want to select “VoIP” as a preferred service tag.

Establish contact(s) for your customers to interact with should they have questions. Notifications are directly sent to the email associated with the contact and messaging is not federated within the ECX Fabric portal.
